About This Floor

Katmai runs medium and warm with heavy knot detail that gives it a bold, rustic character most hickory floors don't deliver. The variation is pronounced, with strong plank-to-plank contrast that brings a warmer tone into the room and keeps the space from feeling flat or uniform. It reads best in casual, farmhouse, or rustic interiors where that kind of movement and texture fits the overall direction. A good option when you want a floor with a lot of natural personality.
