Where are Hardwood Bargains products made?

We partner with leading flooring factories across the world — including Thailand, China, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Indonesia — to produce our collections to our exact specifications. All products are manufactured with responsibly sourced materials and undergo independent safety testing, structural inspections, and finish-quality checks before shipping. This ensures your floors meet U.S. safety standards, environmental compliance, and long-term performance expectations.

Can I install Hardwood Bargains flooring myself?

Yes. Many of our floors are designed for DIY installation using click-lock systems or glue-down methods. For larger or more complex projects, we recommend professional installation.

Can I use Hardwood Bargains flooring on walls or ceilings?

Yes. Many of our engineered hardwood and luxury vinyl planks can be used for accent walls or ceilings — just check the product specifications to confirm.

Samples

Do you offer samples?

Yes. We offer samples of most products so you can see and feel them in your own space before ordering.

How fast do samples ship?

Samples typically ship within 1–2 business days of order processing.

How big are the samples?

Small samples are 7.5 inches long. Large samples are 15 inches and include three planks so you can get a clear sense of color, texture, and finish.

Returns

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on unopened, undamaged cartons within 30 days of delivery (5-carton minimum). A 25% restocking fee applies. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the product is defective or damaged in transit.

Exceptions:

  • No returns on opened boxes, clearance items, or special orders
  • Exchanges allowed within 30 days on eligible HB-brand flooring

All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number

Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — we offer free shipping on most Hardwood Bargains brand orders that meet our minimums (1,000 sq ft or $3,500 pre-tax in eligible flooring). Exclusions include clearance items, discounted orders, and certain delivery zones (WA, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI, HI, AK, OR, NY, NJ, DC). Each shipment leaves the factory with QC documentation and safety test records, and we partner only with carriers experienced in transporting flooring products.

How fast do you ship?

Orders typically leave our warehouse within 2–5 business days. Most customers receive their flooring within 5 business days after shipment.

Do you ship internationally?

We primarily ship within the continental U.S., but custom international shipping options are available — contact us for details.

Engineered Hardwood

What are Hardwood Bargains engineered hardwood floors made of?

Each plank features:

Can I install engineered hardwood below grade?

Yes — in many cases, as long as proper moisture precautions are taken. Always check product specifications.

Can I use hardwood in bathrooms or kitchens?

Engineered hardwood is more moisture-resistant than solid hardwood and can be used in kitchens and half baths. It is not recommended for full bathrooms.

Do you offer matching trim or moldings?

Yes, most collections have coordinating moldings, stair nosings, and transitions available.

Rigid-Core Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)

What is Hardwood Bargains Rigid-Core LVP made of?

Each plank is made from:

  • Wear Layer: Clear, scratch-resistant coating
  • Decor Layer: High-definition printed film for realistic looks
  • Rigid Core: SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) for stability and dent resistance
  • Backing: Attached underlayment for sound absorption and comfort

Our LVP is 100% waterproof, pet-friendly, and tested for VOC safety.

Do I need nails or glue to install LVP?

No — most Hardwood Bargains LVP products use click-lock floating installation.

Can I install LVP over existing floors?

Yes — it’s waterproof and suitable for wet or high-traffic areas, and can often be installed over existing flooring.

Care & Maintenance

How do I clean my Hardwood Bargains floor?

For Engineered Hardwood: 

  • Sweep or vacuum regularly (no beater bar)
  • Damp mop with hardwood floor cleaner (avoid excess water)
  • Wipe spills immediately
  • Avoid harsh cleaners, steam mops, or wax

For LVP: 

  • Sweep or vacuum often 
  • Damp mop with vinyl-safe cleaner 
  • Avoid abrasives, ammonia, or bleach

All cleaning recommendations are based on manufacturer testing to protect your floor’s finish and warranty.
